The groove adds definition to the design whilst the square top edge gives it a modern and sharp finish. The Grooved 1 Square profile also creates a shadow gap/line effect on your skirting boards with the recessed groove running along the top. To further pronounce this effect, you can also paint the groove a darker shade. In modern and contemporary interiors, the Groove 1 Skirting Board also offers a channel to host thin LED strip lighting. You can rest assured that you are purchasing a hard-wearing and long lasting board when you select our HDF skirting. Also, you won't have to deal with imperfections such as knots, splintering and cracks that are present in natural timber (softwood).
