Also, you won't have to deal with imperfections such as knots, splintering and cracks that are present in natural timber (softwood). The design never changes size so the plain part of the skirting will decrease and increase as you change the height of the board. Details: Profile Size: 47mm Size: Product sold in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths in sizes 70mm - 400mm (heights). Thicknesses available are 18mm and 25mm. Finish: The primed finish will require an undercoat and final paint finish. The undercoated finish may require a final paint finish. Rebate: Rebate option is available for an easy-fix cable management solution for hiding surface wiring or pipe work (20mm wide x 10mm deep cut-out at the base of the rear of the board).

Skirting World

Our MDF Plinth Block P2 is perfect for use with any of our skirtings and architraves. They can be used to make your doorways really stand out. It features just a single chamfered face and is a very simplistic design. Generally, a plinth block is taller than the skirting and wider than the architrave. However, it is personal preference and you can have them the same height as the skirting and same width as the architrave (they can never be smaller as they will not work!). You also need to choose a thicker size to work with skirting and architrave (if skirting / architrave is 18mm, plinth should be 25mm at least).
